What Are The Important Moments You Should Include In Your Wedding Video?
ShareIt is one of the most special days of your life. From the big moments to the small ones, you will want to remember it for the rest of your life. Your wedding day is the beginning of your life together and in order to capture it and relive the memories, a video of that precious time is a must.
What are the important moments you should include in your wedding video? While you will most likely have several you want to include, these should make the list.
Getting Ready
Many brides and grooms have their photographer take photos of them getting ready for the wedding, but not all will invite their videographer to do the same. It's a fun time to look back on with the bridesmaids and groomsmen helping the couple get ready to walk down the aisle.
This could include a trip to the hairdresser with the ladies, the men getting their suit jackets on, or each group sharing a glass of champagne before the big event. You should also include when the parents first see the bride and groom in their finery.
The Arrivals
If you don't mind a longer video, you could have a second videographer at the venue filming the arrivals of the guests. This could be edited down so it won't take up too much time if you like. The arrival of the wedding party is a fun moment to include. The groom arriving with his groomsmen and then later, the bride with her party. You should have a shot of the groom waiting at the altar for his bride too.
Ceremony
The main shots during the ceremony you should get include, walking down the aisle of the bride and bridesmaids, father-of-the-bride giving away his daughter and the ceremony itself. You could also include close-ups of the bride and groom's clasped hands during the vows, as well as close up on the faces. Also, any readings you wish your guests to make and the first kiss are musts to have too.
Reception
The moments you should film at the reception include the grand entrance of the happy couple and of course the first dance. You should also have the cake cutting, the bouquet toss and any toasts the wedding party makes. The guests dancing is a fun moment to include as well as them enjoying the dinner prepared for them.
One moment you might not think to include but you should is, when the bride and groom leave the reception. You could also add a special thank you to those who attended or participated in your wedding. This thank you could be included in the videos you wish to give to those special people.
